- Label your chargers! Almost everything comes with a charger these days. Use a labeler to print what device the charger goes to.
- Use clear containers when storing items. You can see what is in them at a glance.
- Staple the store receipt to the owners manual of your purchases.
- No more lost keys! Install a keypad lock to your entrance door. It comes with two pre-set codes or your can set your own, and a set of keys if you prefer. If you need someone to get into your home, you can give them the code and reset it again later.
- Keep spare garbage bags in the bin under your garbage for easy access.
- Put cookies, crackers, cereal etc. in clear containers as soon as you get home from the grocery store. They use less space in the cubbard.
- Use multi-surface cleaners to cut down on products.
- Limit the amount of dishes, cups, glasses, etc. you have. When you run out, someone will have to do dishes.
- Buy one type of storage container. They usually stack well together.
- Keep a record of materials used in your home., paint colors, tile, grout color, carpet, stains, etc. When something needs to be repaired you will be able to refer to your file.
